I love this UI control on yelp.com . It’s big and obvious what it does, but a good solution to the problem of refreshing the map, imo.
The alternative, where the map automatically refreshes after you drag it, is cool, but can get a little annoying, because all of the marker numbers will probably change when the map reloads, making it difficult to find something you saw before dragging.
I may have to steal this control for the next map I make ;)
